Spider-man Daily Comic Strip signed by Stan Lee

14" x 5.5" - ink on bristol
by Larry Leiber & Stan Lee
2002

Few people have had as much effect on society as the imagination and writings of Stan Lee. Having worked in comics most of his life, his stable of characters such as the X-Men, Daredevil, Iron Man, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, are just the tip of the iceberg. Perhaps Stan's best loved character, and certainly the one most well-known (created with the visuals of Steve Ditko), is Spider-man.

In 1977, spinning off the popularity of Spider-man in comic books, Stan began writing a newspaper comic strip version of the character's adventures that was first drawn by John Romita. Eventually, Larry Lieber, Stan's brother, drew the strip, and continues to do so for the dailies to this day.

Stan sends us this great original art that was published on December 30, 2002. He has signed it in the lower right corner, and is a must for the collection of any comics enthusiast! To borrow from Stan himself - Excelsior!
