CONGRATULATIONS TO PETE DOCTER FOR HIS FILM'S 5 OSCAR NOMINATIONS INCLUDING BEST PICTURE!
Pete Docter has been a part of Pixar from the beginning of their filmmaking days, having had an integral part in many of their films beginning with Toy Story. He went on to direct the hugely successful Monsters Inc., and this past year he directed the soaring movie Up. Up takes the audience on a delightful journey with Carl (a senior citizen who literally floats his house with a million balloons), and Russell, a boy scout inadvertently along for the ride. Filled with many emotional twists and turns, and a sweet relationship between the man and the boy in need of a father, Up is sure to be a contender at the Oscars.
This drawing by Pete Docter is of the elderly curmudgeon Carl, and Kevin - the bird they discover at Paradise Falls. This drawing comes with a
BONUS autograph - seven-time Emmy Award and five-time Golden Globe winning actor
Ed Asner who voiced Carl signed the drawing under Pete's depiction of the character!
